  • the logo-competition procedure with the rules will be coordinated with the ‘More members’ -project
  • the logo-competition’s prize-giving ceremony will be in connection with the 50 years anniversary

    7.  Preparations for next UICB General Assembly 2008

  • UICB will have its 50 years anniversary and General Assembly in October 2008, hosted by YEM Turkey
  • Election of president, Executive Committee Members, Secretary General for 2009-2011

  • Expert exchange program starts in November 2007 with the building centres from Istanbul, Copenhagen and Helsinki

    The UICB session embedded in the CIB W102 3rd International Conference took place on Wednesday 17th October 13.30-17.30 at the venue Haus der Wirtschaft, Willi-Bleicher-Straße 19, 70174 Stuttgart.

    • The keynote speaker, Mr. Gert Birnbacher, Msc. Economics, Phd., Sociology, has a background as Cofounder and Chairman for many years of the Danish E-business Association and he has worked as manager and consultant in complex public and private e-business enterprises in Scandinavia. Mr. Birnbacher has worked especially with information intensive projects and has in the later years specialised in open source projects with an international perspective.

    Discussions how building information can be seen in an e-business and customer orientated perspective. Also state-of-art reports presented by some of UICB member centres.
