UICB 2002 Special General Assembly, Middelfart, Denmark,
10-11 June 2002
The Annual Meeting and the Special General Assembly (or "Extraordinary General Assembly")
were held on June 10 and 11, 2002 in Middelfart, Denmark. They were hosted by the
Danish Building Center.
The program of these events was:
June 10: UICB Special General Assembly:
The meeting took place at the Building and Conference Center that is situated in
Middelfart 1,5- 2 hours ride by train from Copenhagen.
This gave all members the possibility to be at the same place and meet each other
and exchange experiences and at the same time to be in the UICB-relevant setting
provided by one of exhibition's centers (3000m2 indoors and 15000 outdoors, totally
renovated in 2001).

June 11:
This part of the programme was more "nomadic":
Travel from Middelfart by bus and via the new second-largest bridge in the world
to the new center (3000 m2) opened in 2001. Seminar in the center: Challenges, strategies
and possibilities for Building Centers in the next 10 years. Short presentations
from members and discussion (please refer to the Vision 2000 document as a basis
for the discussion).
Architecture and Building development in the Copenhagen area. An excursion by bus
and boat to some of the landmarks build or under construction in these years.
