UICB Seminar in Prague, Czech Republic, 21-23 September 2006

UICB's Annual Seminar 2006 took place in Prague 21-23 September 2006. The seminar was hosted by the UICB member organization, ABF a.s. by Mr Lukas Behal.

Mr Behal had arranged an interesting programme for the UICB members including also a visit to the Building Fair FOR ARCH and a magnificent sightseeing tour "Baroque Prague", during which the participants saw the most important baroque buildings in Prague.

Project ‘More Members’ presented by Jörn Vibe Andreasen and Baris Onay (pdf 119 kb)

  • Project plan was discussed and approved by present members including UICB newsletter and logo competition taking into account that it means extra costs approximately 1000-3000 €, which are not included in the present budget for 2006.
  • The first newsletter will be sent out by the end of October and mailed to at least 100 new potential members. E-mail addresses will be sent to Baris Onay.
  • The interpretation of membership criteria is that one of the areas mentioned in the Statutes shall be included in the activities of the new member. The name of UICB International Union of Building Centres will be interpreted in a new form “International Union of Building Information”.
